In this week's discussion board, you will reflect on the literature review and resources supporting your disease management plan and conclusion. Identify the gaps in care or information that you've discovered and develop potential research questions to be answered in future studies. This is the essence of growing our knowledge on a topic. While your Disease Management Plan is not a research paper, it can reveal the need for future research on a topic germane to your Patient Population of Practice.
Instructions (Recommended order)
- (By Monday) Reflect on your disease management plan for your practice patient population.
- (By Tuesday) Review the resources supporting your Disease Management Plan.
- (By Wednesday, 23:59 EST of week 1) Post an overview of at least 3 research questions that should be considered for future research studies about your Patient Population of Practice. Incorporate the types of studies by level, orientation to your PPoP, and methods necessary to answer the research questions.
