Overview
Using the information from the scenario in Module 1, the needs assessment that you created for Module 2, and the vendor that you researched and recommended in Module 5, create an implementation plan for Newville Clinic and their new EHR. The plan should include:
- Explain how your chosen vendor meets the functional need requirements.
- Identify 2 goals and 3 objectives that align with your organization's needs.
- Prioritize the steps to the EHR implementation, with examples specific to your needs assessment.
- Discuss the day of go-live, how will staff be prepared?
- Discuss the importance of creating a data migration plan and provide a draft data migration plan.
- Recommend a training process that is inclusive of all stakeholders.
- Describe your testing plan.
- Discuss the chosen change management and implementation strategies (rollout, turnover, phased, etc.).
Use course readings and at least two outside sources to support your position. Your implementation plan should be in current APA format and 4-5 double-spaced pages, not including the title page or references. This includes the use of headings to break up the different required sections of the pape
