You have identified a public health issue and explained how social media could increase awareness. ( attached ) Now take your analysis one step further: How could you transform that social media awareness into meaningful health policy action?
Using the same public health issue from your initial discussion, imagine that you are an advanced practice nurse participating in the development of a social media advocacy campaign.
Identify one specific policy change you would advocate for and explain how your social media strategy could help influence that change. Who are the key stakeholders or policymakers you would need to reach, and what specific message or call to action would you use to engage them?
Additionally, identify at least two measurable outcomes you would use to determine whether your campaign was successful. Consider how you would address misinformation, health literacy, cultural differences, and disparities in digital access when implementing your strategy.
