Overview
This is the first step for developing the topic for your final project. For this step, develop 3 possible research questions for your final project. You could do a project on a particular television creator (Norman Lear, Shonda Rimes, etc.), product placement, theme songs, books that appear in television, cameos, pets, particular genres during a particular period of time, particular networks, technological developments, or pretty much anything else that interests you.
You get to pick your final project topic. It must:
1) Be arguable (meaning a reasonable person could argue against it with evidence)
3) Have academic sources to support your research
4) Be about something that actually interests you. You're going to live with this topic for a month. Select something you like, not something you think I will like.
