Because this exam is open book. So the Tutor must have the textbook: American Horizons with Sources, Vol. I. It is published by Oxford UP and edited by Michael Schaller
also we could use slides for the exam. I will upload later. The midterm exam have 140mins time limit. here is the instructions for the exam:
The midterm will be comprised of two sections. You must complete the exam in one sitting. You will have three hours. Pay attention to the individualized directions in each section. This exam covers material assigned from weeks one through four. Avoid using the Internet, Discord, or AI for your responses and please use your textbook and lecture slides as well as any personal notes you have taken. Each response must have specific references to your text and/or lectures (by citing the page number of lecture slide title). Answers without such specific references will receive less or no credit (don't let this scare you - just remember to cite your text and lecture slides - you can reference them during the test!).
