Overview
Choose one of the two passages included below from Antigone and Pausanias. Compare [this can also mean contrasting] the passage provided with another passage (one not included in this document) from a work we have discussed throughout this quarter (Theogony, Odyssey, Hymn to Demeter, or the Lucian readings). You can use the other work mentioned here but cannot use this passage (i.e. you choose the passage from Antigone, you can compare it to a different section from the Pausanias reading).
Your response must be between 1200-1300 words. This word count does include quotes, but I do not want large block quotes throughout your paper. You must also include your passage from another work before your essay with proper citation. Remember, when shifting between works, citations will have to include the author’s name/title when the author is unknown and line numbers or page numbers (just for Pausanias).
