Overview
You have decided to create a magickal order. In either expository essay style or fictional format tell me about the order - its name, its mission/goals, its structure (and the why behind that decision), its magickal and philosophical influences (anything from the Renaissance forward up through Chaos Magick), the important symbols of the order (and why), and the types of magick and divination systems used.
It may be more ceremonial magick or witchcraft-y in focus, but there should be evidence in your writings that you understand several of the different magickal systems and much of the history we have talked about in the second half of class: Renaissance Neoplatonism, Kabbalah, Geomancy, Enochian Magick, Rosicrucianism/Freemasonry, the Spiritworking/Animistic elements of witchcraft (during the time of the trials and in the modern era), the 19th century occult revival, the grand synthesis of the Golden Dawn, and Postmodern Magick (Crowley and the OTO, Gardner's Wicca and Traditional Witchcraft, and Austin Spare and Chaos Magick).
