For this Discussion, answer one of the instructor-provided questions by 11:55pm, ET, Friday and respond to 3 other students' postings by 11:55pm, ET, Sunday. You are also required to answer a follow-up question from your instructor. The follow-up post is due the following Sunday by 11:55 pm, ET. 1. Read this letter from "Docs teach" : Docs teach: Letter from Reagan to Gorbachev

2. From a topic in chapter 30: Find two articles: one pro Reaganomics and one anti Reaganomics. Remember that scholarly articles have a historian's name attached to them. Compare them and tell us if "trickle down" economics was successful. Watch those sources, don't use anything that is blatantly propaganda or that is lacking an author's name.
3. How did the Cold War end? What was Reagan's role in its end? Has it really ended? Go to your week six lessons for this, look at The End of the Cold War section, to start with. Much of the lessons for week six relates in one way or another to the Cold War.
4. Was President Bill Clinton to the left, right, or centrist? How do you support your answer? You should be opening the lessons/textbook for questions like this.
5. Explain how, having lost the popular vote in 2000, Bush nevertheless became president.
