Why did the Supreme Court refuse to uphold a law limiting the workday for men in the case of Lochner v. New York (1905) but uphold a similar law for women three years later in the case of Muller v. Oregon? Does this logic make sense to you? Do you believe the Supreme Court performed their function as they are supposed to?
