Overview
Hi, so for my paper I have already chosen thesis as: The preliminary thesis of my essay will argue that Istanbul's evolution throughout this period was due to a complex interplay of local and global factors, rather than just Ottoman policies. This transition eventually contributed to the city's growth as a multicultural center integrating East and West.
My teacher has made us turn in several assignments beforehand for this research paper. With that said, she has given me input about certain things:
I included the pdf below of my essay topic and annotated bibliography (what I already have turned in) and my teacher wrote that one of my primary sources is not good which is the Russell, Alexander, and Patrick Russell. “The Natural History of Aleppo” (London: A. Millar, 1794) as you will see in the document since it does not cover the Ottoman Empire. She also said my annotated bibliography did not add the relevance of the sources to my paper.
SO with this all said, I need you to help me find an additional primary source and another 2 secondary sources as well. My teacher wants sources outside of our syllabus, however I only provided ones from it in my previous work.

I need an A in this class, and since my other few assignments for this research paper recieved heavy criticism I really need help for this essay to fully fit my thesis and conform to a proper research paper.
The guidelines for the structure include: 6-10 pages, double spaced, footnotes, chicago style and of course include a bibliography at the end. Make sure to add another primary source so 2 in total, and please add another 2 secondary sources to my list so 5 in total.
