- ion to specifically discuss one of the following prompts. In addition to using language from the writings of and about your historical figure, you must also incorporate relevant "Founding the American Presidency."
Use your research to propose your historical figure’s worldview of people, power, and government and explain how that worldview impacted and explains their specific arguments about the American presidency.
Format Requirements (20): The essay should be typed, double-spaced, in Times
New Roman, 12-point font with 1” margins on all sides. The essay should include a title (it should be both relevant and creative) and provide a title page, including the title of your essay, your name, class, professor’s name, and due date. You are expected to use your textbook, in addition to other sources, to support your answers. As a result, you are expected to use Chicago/Turabian writing style, including both footnotes and a bibliography. The paper should be at least 6 pages long, excluding the title page and bibliography.
2. Well-written (20): The essay should be free of grammar and spelling errors. In addition, paragraphing form should be evident, sentences should be varied, and verb use is active and consistent.
3. Well-organized (20): The basic elements of a good essay should be present, including an introduction, well-developed and stated thesis, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. In addition, the essay should have topic sentences, organization of ideas, and transitions.
4. Well-developed (40): The essay should contain a clear thesis statement, address all parts of the prompt thoroughly, and fully develop the answers, including supporting evidence, explanations, and quotes.
