History Question

Overview

Seutonius was a Roman citizen who lived from 69-130 CE and wrote biographies of twelve Roman emperors. Although his accounts of the rulers are anecdotal, they do provide modern readers with insight into Roman life. For this assignment, you will read two excerpts from Seutonius' biography, The Life of Augustus. When Seutonius writes "he" in the passage, this is referring to the things that Emperor Augustus has accomplished. This is the same Augustus of the sculpture, Augustus of Prima Porta.
