Discussion 2
After reading through the lecture notes, Lecture: First Wave of Mexican Migration to the U.S. and reading, Reading: From Out of the Shadows by Ruiz (Chapter 1) for this discussion. Once you have read through the above items need to proceed to the question below. You will be required to use both lecture notes and reading to support your response to the discussion. As a reminder please read through the instructions, as students tend to loose points in addition to not following the instructions posted below. Discussion assignments are not eligible for late submissions.
Your Initial Post Should Include the Following
- What events or conditions forced Mexicans to migrated to the United States between 1900-1930? Please use lecture notes and reading to support your response.
- What about this week's lecture and reading did you find interesting and why?

- Your expected to post an initial response and reply to the discussion.
- Students will only receive full credit after they have posted an initial response and then reply to 2 posts of other classmates in each discussion.
