Overview
Scholarly articles are works written by historians called Academic Journal Articles (AJA). Historians love to review the works of other historians. Whenever a new history book or scholarly work is written, the historical profession selects experts in particular fields of studies to determine the value and contribution the new work will have on the academic discipline by writing a review. In this history course, you are a student but also a scholar of history. You are considered an expert with your own interpretation of history, and your task is to write an AJA Review. Please write a 2-page (minimum) review. In your review, you may celebrate the author’s accomplishments, but also challenge anything that seems substandard. Style and creativity play a crucial role in the success of your review.
