Essay Question: How does Rousseau's Discourse on Inequality undermine Enlightenment beliefs about progress?
Must be between 6-7 double spaced pages, closer to 7, NOT MORE. Try to make it exactly 7 pages. Times new roman, 12 font, 1" margins, MLA format with a work cited page. Work cited page should not be included in the page count.
- You have to use a LOT of quotes throughout your essay and use a LOT of sources. There should be MORE THAN 1 quote per paragraph you write. The more the better. A PARAGRAPH CANNOT TAKE UP MORE THAN A PAGE, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN WRITING.
- The essay has to consist of both primary and secondary sources. There should be more primary sources than there are secondary, so keep that in mind. Use as much as possible! All primary and secondary sources are attached below. Use the secondary sources to back up your claims.
- YOU CANNOT USE ANY OUTSIDE RESOURCES FOR YOUR WORK, AND HAVE TO ONLY USE WHAT IS PROVIDED TO YOU.
- Include page numbers in your citation, and make sure they are correct! The teacher knows these books and all the readings like the back of his hand. He will check, and so will I!
- You can use whichever primary and secondary sources attached that you feel is best for your answer, but use as much as possible, if not all. Try to use all of them.
- Write the question of your essay topic at the top of your page, and make sure to number the pages correctly.
