This is Euripides' Play, Trojan Women. It is the story of the aftermath of the Fall of Troy, told from the perspective of the women of Troy who were to be divided as spoils of war among the Greeks.
Questions to think about:
1. Normally we think about the Trojan War from the perspective of the victors, the Greeks. How does the differing perspective (from the defeated Trojans) of the Trojan War effect your view of it?
2. How does Euripides present the gods, their actions and motivations?
3. On a broader level what does this play say about the nature of war and the actions of both the victors and the defeated?
