I'm working on a business law multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

After reading the case, answer the following questions. 

Using the case and the textbook, do you think that a defense of intoxication should have succeeded in relieving Zehmer of the obligations of the contract?  i.e. did he lack capacity to enter into the contract?  What would Zehmer have to prove to convince a court or jury that he should not be held responsible for this contract?

What is the objective theory of contracts?  How did it apply in this case? Who won the case and why?
