I would put in a law that is more effective in fighting against fraud. Fraud is very common all over and it is a real problem that affects everyone. We need to have new laws that make it easier to track down fraudsters and keep everyone safe. There are many cases where people get a hold of someone's phone number and they obtain private information such as things about a family member to scam someone into giving them money. We see this a lot with the older generation. But this also happens with the younger generation too. I wish I could design a thing where people could report it and thing where people could report it and then it would instantly gather information such as if they have talked to other people and then it would make it easier to track scammers down.
I would create a website asking the person reporting a series of questions so that would ask the person reporting a series of questions so that we could obtain as much information. Then the website would be able to keep all of the information stored and then if someone else had a similar interaction with this person it could put all of that information together and we could see if they are calling people using different numbers each time or if it's the same number. I feel that this would make it easier to track down the scammer and make them consequences for scamming people. People get scammed by people pretending to be insurance companies or other places like that. I have gotten messages from Amazon that say I won a brand new phone but I know it's a scam.
I would like to see these scammers get in trouble and suffer the consequences of scamming people for money when they have the same 24 hours in a day to get a job and make money. People shouldn't scam others for money when there are plenty of jobs available in the world right now and they could easily just get a job.
