Overview
The American Society for Public Administrators, ASPA, is a professional organization for those who work in the field of public administration and each of you have been granted a student membership through the MPA program. Each year ASPA brings together public administration professional to exchange thoughts and present research. In the hopes that each of you will continue to be actively involved in ASPA in a professional capacity, you will be putting together a submission to present your capstone project that would meet the requirements for submission to a call for conference presenters. Conference submissions include an abstract for your research. An abstract is a concise summary of your research summary that should be no longer than 250-300 words. INSTRUCTIONS
For this assignment, you will submit a mock submission for the ASPA conference. The assignment is set up as a Quiz in Canvas, but the prompts are the same as what you would have to complete if you were submitting on the ASPA site.
You will enter the following items:
- Your name
- Your e-mail
- The title of your submission
- A 250-300 word abstract
While it is not required for this assignment, you should consider submitting your capstone project or other research to ASPA or a similar conference.
