Assignment Instructions
Use the Business Vault to revisit the management theories we've explored this semester. Then, choose one of the three options below to complete your paper.
A. Theory in Research
Find a recent scholarly article (within the last 3 years) that discusses or critiques one of the theories in the Business Vault. Summarize the author’s argument, explain whether you agree or disagree, and connect
it to what we’ve studied in class.
B. Theory in Practice
Select a current business article from a reputable source (Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Economist, or Harvard Business Review). Apply a management theory from the course to interpret or “solve” the issue discussed—or use the theory to create an interesting contrast.
C. Creative Extension
Create your own case or scenario illustrating a management challenge (motivation, communication, leadership, structure, or change). Use two theories from the Business Vault to analyze the problem and propose a solution. You may use examples from your own experience, student organizations, or workplaces.
