Purpose
The purpose of this discussion is to report on Blanchard's SLII® and how it can be applied in different organizational settings.
Parameters
You must provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 250-300 words long and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, you must reply to 2 other of your colleagues' initial posts. Your replies must be 150-200 words long and substantive in content, adding to the discussion the classmate began in their original thread. Discussion board posts are required to follow current APA style guidelines.

The Blanchard SLII Model builds your methodology in leadership. By developing a relationship with the SLII model, you will continue to grow in your leadership style.
Read Case 5.1 below: cast study is attached.
After you have read Case 5.1, "Marathon Runners at Different Levels," then prepare your post based on the following questions:
- Based on the principles of the SLII® model (Figure 5.1), how would you describe the runners in Group 1? What kind of leadership do they want from Abruzzo, and what type does he seem prepared to give them?
- How would you describe the fit between the runners in Group 2 and Abruzzo's coaching style? Discuss.
- Abruzzo faces a challenge from the experienced runners in Group 3. Using SLII®, explain why he appears ineffective with this group.
- How would you describe his strengths and weaknesses if you were helping Abruzzo with his coaching? What suggestions would you make to him about how to improve?
