Major Project Part 1: Change Audit
Purpose
This assignment aims to describe your organization and the need for change, diagnose the need for change, design interventions, and develop strategies to reinforce change.
Parameters Your paper will be 3-5 pages, not counting the header, table of contents, abstract, or reference pages. You will need to locate at least 3 references. Your references are required from external professional references and academic sources. All writing must be in the current APA formatting. Application of graduate-level writing and grammar should be carefully considered and implemented. This is a formal paper and may be used to present evidence of mastery to an organization. Use section headers for each bullet point (1, 2, & 3) so your instructor can evaluate your work and apply the rubric.
Prompt In Week 2, you were introduced to the Change Audit Project that you will be completing in Weeks 4-7 of this course. Make sure to refer back to the Major Project Acknowledgement to refresh your memory if needed. There are 4 parts to the Major Project:

For this part of the project, include the following:
- Provide an overview of your organization. Include the industry, structure, mission, values, and other aspects of the organization relevant in the context of the change audit.
- Identify the specific pain point in the organization and describe the need for change. Any need to change is valid. Examples include employee retention, negative culture, declining performance, slow hiring processes, technology, adding a new major client, etc... Include how the change is situated within the organization. This means at what level of the organization are employees impacted, what processes are impacted, how does it impact performance, is it visible to all the employees, is it visible externally, etc.?
- State the change model you will use as your theoretical framework and justify why it is the best. Connect the scope of the change need to the change model.
- Include references to all sources using in-text citations and a reference page.
