Read Chapter 5 from Meeting the Ethical Challenges of Leadership. Then examine Case 5.1 - A New Approach to Answer the questions:
- Would you be comfortable submitting to a brain scan when applying for a job? If your current employer asked you to? Why or why not?
- Would you be willing to undergo neurofeedback training to improve your performance as a student or employee?
- Should current employees and job applicants be able to opt out of brain scans? What might be the consequences of doing so?
- Can you think of any other benefits of using neuroscience in leader development? Any additional costs?
- Should businesses and other organizations use neuroscientific technology in their leader development programs? Why or why not?
