The conceptual framework is not only important in relation to how you think about your research topic, but it also impacts how you conduct your research. Thus, the argument represented by the conceptual framework graphic and narrative drives virtually the entire research process. It is important to note, however, that the conceptual framework evolves as the research process moves forward. Just as with research itself, the conceptual framework is alive, not static. It is not a one-and-done. It will grow and change, as does your study.
As you conclude this course, it is important to return to the conceptual framework that you drafted in Unit 2. Now that you have immersed yourself in literature pertinent to your study topic, it is likely that the research themes that you have identified are in some respect consistent with that original conceptual framework, whereas in other respects, conceptual relationships may have shifted or new concepts, and therefore new research themes, have entered the picture. For this Discussion Board (DB) assignment, complete the following: Revisit the conceptual framework graphic and narrative that you produced in Unit 2, and modify both components to conform to your revised understanding of the key concepts and their relationships. Upload a revised version of your conceptual framework graphic and narrative to the DB for your colleagues. Elaborate on how your conceptual framework has changed as you attained more knowledge from reviewing the literature.
