Overview
This week, in a 1-2 page pamphlet, discuss the potential of collaborating with an innovation smart lab or crowdsource opportunities. Additionally, discuss the pros and cons of these opportunities. (LO1, LO2, LO3)
Essential Activities:
- Reading Chapter nine in: Dekkers, R. (2018). Innovation management and new product development for engineers, volume 2: Basic concepts. (pg. 279-314) (LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4) will prepare you for this week's assignment
For your innovation project, align the stage gates that were addressed in previous weeks with the consideration of collaboration. Don’t forget sourcing and supplier management as well. Create an excel document or word document that notes the stage gates, the major steps in the stage gates and the specific tasks in each of the gates. (LO1, LO2, LO3)
