Overview
During this part of the term, you will be creating a powerpoint or video for chapter(s) (either
chapters one+ two, or three or four in The B Corp Handbook to the class. After each presentation, the class will discuss (on the DB for online sections) the information presented, and complete confidential peer reviews for your group experience. Group scores will be based on thoroughness of information presented, the quality of your presentation (e.g., how engaging it is; lack of slide errors), your peer reviews, the ability to analyze content and make accurate concept connections, and how well your group works together (see rubrics). You will also need to find two companies that are B Corp companies as "case studies" to add to your chapter presentation. Do not use any of the cases that are already in the book. Please find some supplemental information on these additional two companies - as in interviews, articles, BCorp annual reports, or information about being a BCorp from the company website. You'll include a few slides on each company (not mentioned in the book) to discuss their experience as a BCorp. Thoughts for this section may be “Why BCorp” “How did we do it?” and “What are the benefits to our company?”
