Some things to consider:

1. When Oklahoma companies were surveyed about what they feel their new employees are lacking and what universities could focus more on, the majority of companies stated that there was a lack of ability to work in teams.
2. 93% of organizations state they want to restructure organizations to promote more teamwork (AAIR Consulting, 2020).
3. 31% of leaders report that most or ALL of their work is done in cross-functional teams (AAIR Consulting, 2020).

DISCUSSION QUESTION: Considering this, do you feel teamwork is as common within organizations as they claim it is? Do you feel teamwork at the university level helps you with teamwork within an organization? What could universities do better?
