Overview

• Suppose that a 5% increase in the minimum wage causes a 5% reduction in employment. How would this affect employers and how would it affect workers? In your opinion, would this be a good policy?
• Think about productivity issues that occur at both the individual, group, and organizational levels. Next, generate a list of best practices or interventions that may counteract these barriers to productivity. Your reflection may be written or recorded with management in mind as the audience. Give them tips on how to have a conversation with an unproductive employee when the issue is the individual, and not occurring across the department or organization.
