Overview
For this assignment, students should rely heavily on the textbook Chapter 8, and on content & resources available throughout all the Canvas modules.
Students are expected to choose an organization that SHOULD implement a change process. This can be a well known company or a smaller organization you are personally connected to. This assignment requires students to extrapolate what SHOULD happen to effectively lead the change. Students should not report in past-tense, but rather put yourselves in the role of management consultant. If you were a professional consultant the organization hired to assist with leading the change plan, how would you recommend the organization approach the 5 Activities contributing to effective change management. 5 aspects of effective change management to be addressed as follows: 1) Motivating Change, 2) Creating a Vision, 3) Developing Support, 4) Managing the Transition, and 5) Sustaining Momentum. Each of the five Download Each of the fiveshould be specifically addressed in the plan.
Use the concepts presented in the resources posted in Canvas, as well as the course textbook, to analyze how the change plan was effectively managed by the organization’s leadership. Utilize the 5 Activities contributing to effective change management in the textbook Ch. 8. Synthesize the course materials presented in Canvas and the textbook. Submit a slideshow synthesizing the course content with your selected example. Students can choose to submit the slideshow in Power Point, Prezi, Keynote, Canva, or other desktop publishing or design software. The slideshow should be saved as PDF file and uploaded to Canvas.
Charts, graphs, figures, pictures, and visual graphics are encouraged. The final slide should include a list of sources utilized in form of a Reference list.
