Overview
Objective: : Learners will demonstrate use of technology by creating a mock teacher website to post specific assignments and activities created throughout the courses. What is digital literacy? Since technology changes so rapidly, many educational leaders find it hard to define such a broad term. They prefer to use the term “digital literacy” to include the varied activities that involve technology and engage learners. Teachers are required to use technology to engage students and maximize learning. However, since each campus has differing technology resources, it is essential to identify the technology available to you and your students. We include many excellent educational resources and technology-based activities to infuse in your classroom. As an educator in Texas, each district has set high expectations for learning, student growth and professional relationships with students. Our expectation is that you will be prepared to implement these techniques in your classroom to maximize student growth and learning. 1.
