Introduction
Case studies allow students to apply theory and course content toaddress real problems. Working in a group enables students you tolearn from each other as you will be pooling your individual experiences and diverse expertise. Additionally, this assignment will enable you to develop your interpersonal and team collaboration skills in a remote environment. These skills are very pertinent and relevant in the current work environment.
You will be working in assigned groups to deliver a collaborative presentation that provides an opportunity to develop a strategic vision for how HR can contribute toward organizational growth and performance improvement. In completing this assignment, you will integrate the HR and strategic planning knowledge acquired through course readings and materials with data analysis and evaluation skills.
This case study is presented in three parts addressing several HR challenges. For this assignment, you will only be required to complete one part – Case # 1 : Becoming a Strategic HR Partner.
