DoorDash has been sued in various jurisdictions regarding the classification of its drivers as independent contractors. The Board of Directors is now concerned about its legal exposure and is questioning whether it accurately classified its drivers. The Board of Directors has now hired you to provide your legal opinion on the matter. You should incorporate not only the resources from the textbook but outside resources and research to articulate your position and legal opinion. Discuss what actions you would you take to protect the Company.
