Lesson 6 Discussion ForumCompletion requirementsDue: Sunday, August 17, 2025, 11:55 PM
Wal-Mart has entered into the healthcare arena in several ways. Health clinics, vision clinics, dental offices have opened in Wal-Mart stores and their $4 prescriptions have set a standard. Is this good or bad (defend your answer)? Are there other avenues Wal-Mart (and other retailers) can undertake in the healthcare field?
- The initial post is due by Thursday and must be at least 300 words. (30 Points)
- Peer replies are due by Sunday and should be a minimum of 150 words. One (1) peer reply is required for each discussion prompt. (10 points each - max 20 points)
- At least one (1-2) current scholarly support reference (within the last 5 years) is required to be cited and referenced in APA in your initial post.
Grading for discussions:
- All discussions must be completed on time and must include in-text citations and references in APA style formatting. Missing citations or references will deduct 5 points from your score. All references must be recent within the past 5 years.
- You will lose 10% based on word count if your posts are too short.
- If any part of your post is copied and pasted from the internet or other sources, you will receive a “0” with no chance to resubmit. Please do your own work and share your original thoughts and knowledge gained with the class. Simply copying and pasting does not show what you have learned through reading our course material, which is the purpose of each assignment.
- Do not share or use work from other students, past or present. Turnitin has been enabled for all submissions. Discussion posts with a higher than 30% match through Turnitin will receive a 0. Once your work is graded, that score is final. Resubmissions are not accepted.
- Late discussion posts are not accepted for a grade. Posts must be made before 11:59 pm EST on the last date of each module in order to receive a grade.
- Both initial and peer postings must be supported by references.
