Hi, I need some economics prof. help for this ECO-610 Managerial Economics, discussion forum post and reply activity

Overview

Lesson 4 Discussion Forum

Discussion assignments will be graded based upon the criteria and rubric specified in the Syllabus. Please review this before beginning.

For this Discussion Question, complete the following.

1. Read the attached opinion piece where the author indicates that the Great Recession of 2009 was not caused by the Free Market, but was instead caused by US Government policies. - Here you have the attachment: Free Markets Didn't Cause the Great Recession

2. Locate two JOURNAL articles which discuss this topic further. You need to focus on the Abstract, Introduction, Results, and Conclusion. For our purposes, you are not expected to fully understand the Data and Methodology.

3. Summarize these journal articles. Please use your own words. No copy-and-paste. Cite your sources.

4. The posts are due by 11:55pm on Sunday.

Please post (in APA format) your article citation.

INSTRUCTIONS AND GRADING RUBRIC-

A few general notes about these group discussions:

  • Always cite your source using APA formatting and in-text citations! (Not citing sources will result in deductions).
  • The initial post and peer reply must be different! In other words, do not reuse your initial post for your peer reply.
  • Provide concrete examples, perhaps from your own experience or cited from the reading
  • Identify consequences or implications
  • Challenge something that has been posted – perhaps by playing devil’s advocate in a professional way
  • Pull in related information from other sources with proper citation – books, articles, websites, courses, etc.
  • Please note that simply affirming the viewpoints of others does not contribute to online discussion so thus is not counted in relation to grading.

Topics for discussion will be found in each’s Module’s discussion assignment.

See the following Rubric for grading details:
