Overview
Hi! I need help with Principles of Marketing: Create a Marketing Proposal. I’ll upload the example along with the assignment directions and rubric.
I want to create a strong 6+ page proposal that addresses every requirement in the directions and rubric, with the goal of meeting the Advanced/100% criteria. Please use the rubric as a checklist so nothing is missed, including the smaller requirements like pretesting, post-testing, the 5A framework, reach/frequency, and connecting the digital marketing tools to the required outcomes.
For the main marketing decisions, I’m currently thinking:
- Campaign objective: Persuasive advertising
- Target audience: Downtown professionals, university students, and families/visitors
- Strategy: Pull strategy
- Digital marketing: Social media, mobile marketing, and email marketing
- Budget approach: Objective and task
I chose these because they seem to fit the situation, especially the goals of getting people to try the new location, take advantage of the free specialty item, download the app, earn rewards, use delivery, and eventually become repeat customers. But I want you to review these choices against the assignment and rubric and let me know if they are the strongest choices before developing the proposal.
I want the proposal to sound like me, not like a textbook or a generic AI-generated paper. My writing style is conversational, straightforward, and simple. I can professionalize my writing when needed, but I don’t normally use overly complicated words or long, overly formal sentences. I like to explain my reasoning in a way that sounds natural, like I’m actually talking about the topic and explaining why I think something makes sense.
For example, I would say something more like:
“I think a pull strategy would work best because the goal is to get people downtown interested enough in Somethin’s Brewin’ that they actually want to visit the new location. The free specialty item and rewards app give customers an extra reason to try the cafe instead of just seeing another advertisement and forgetting about it.”
That is the type of voice I want throughout the proposal: clear, natural, conversational, but still appropriate for college work. Please don’t make it sound overly educated, robotic, repetitive, or unnecessarily formal.
The work also needs to be completely original. Do not copy or closely rewrite the example, another student’s work, websites, or other sources. I do not want plagiarism. The example I upload is only there to help understand the expected format and level of the assignment, not to copy from.
I want the final proposal to actually answer the assignment instead of just filling space. Please make sure every section has a clear purpose, the recommendations are explained, and the choices connect back to Somethin’s Brewin’ goals.
Before writing the full proposal, please briefly explain the recommended approach and any changes you think should be made to my choices based on the rubric. Then help develop the proposal in a way that covers everything required while keeping my natural writing style.
