Please solve these two.
1. Art club is selling cakes as fundraiser. Parents gave four cakes to the sale. Each cake was then cut into five pieces and sold. There were a total of 60 pieces to sell. How many cakes did the club make?
2. On Tuesday Sam bought 5 balls. On Wednesday half of all the balls that he had were destroyed. On Thursday there we're only 17 left. How many did he have on monday?
