Q3: Culturally Responsive Pedagogy Instructional Plan

After completing the required text reading and reviewing the required and recommended resources in the Module Overview,  you will locate an instructional plan aligned to the subject and grade level you are teaching or plan to teach and complete the following:

  • critically evaluate the materials, resources, and methods  used in the instructional plan
  • analyze the instructional plan in accordance with the principles of cultural competency and culturally and linguistically responsive teaching practices studied in the course.
  • modify and redesign the instructional plan to make it more culturally and linguistically responsive to diverse student populations.

Be sure to highlight in yellow the culturally responsive practices you added to your revised lesson plan and cite resources from the course text and other scholarly resources that provide evidence your changes are culturally responsive and/or appropriate for the selected grade level and/or subject area.
