Overview
Please watch ch 6 lecture videos and make notes. Notes should be original. no palgerirsm no AI no copy and paste.. It will make both of our lives easier if you use the "Fill-In" note templates at the top of each module and then fill those out. If you choose not to do that, make sure your notes are organized and complete. In fact, please do that even if you do use the "Fill-In" templates.
These notes are YOURS, meaning you can customize them as you would like. In fact, I would encourage you to write comments, questions, and other notes meaningful to you in the margins and to personalize the work. That said, they also need to be complete (meaning you shouldn't be skipping problems or sections.)
There are two main ways students take notes on the lecture videos:
- Downloading the "Fill-In" notes files and then using a tablet to take notes directly on that file
- Printing the "Fill-In" notes files, taking handwritten notes using those pages, and then scanning the notes using a scanning app.
- How to scan my notes?
- Some apps with free options are “Adobe Scan,” “Stack: PDF Scanner by Google 120”, and “CamScanner.” You should not need to pay for a simple PDF Scanner app!
- Once scanned, you can try to upload directly to Canvas via the Canvas app. Another option is to email to your computer and upload or saving in Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. Please scan/save files as a PDF as I know I will be able to read that file type. I don't guarantee I will be able to read/grade it if you submit in an alternative format.
- Be sure to scan the files in "Batch Mode" so it will allow you to scan more than one page at a time and upload a single file
