math response

Overview

please respond to Edward with 150 words

1. I plan to prepare AT LEAST 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday will be before work from 8am to noon, Saturday and Sunday I could do 10-2 or 4pm, as needed, taking 10 minute breaks every hour. I will use the midterm review and possibly watch the videos from previous classes. I plan to work through the midterm review once without consulting notes, identify strengths and weaknesses, and review my notes in areas where I am weak, possibly even re-do the homework or invent my own examples, and then re-attempt the midterm review without notes until I am able to complete it without having to review notes and get all the questions right. (I used a similar approach in AVA and it worked like a charm.) 2. I will need to minimize distractions as best as possible, and my answer to question one is an example of metacognition. Being able to identify strengths and weaknesses is metacognition, and also I would be practicing recalling information without consulting notes by working through the midterm prep. So long as unit conversion data is included in the test (1in=2.54cm, 1kg=2.2lbs, etc), I will write down key formulas on my 1 sided note card like standard deviation rule of thumb, C to F to K temp conversions, etc. I also have a list of concepts that Mr. Viehweg himself mentions will be on the midterm/final throughout the lecture videos.
