Within the presentation, offer 4-5 suggestions for the observed teachers on how to improve classroom environments, being sure to address the following:
- The relationship between motivation and engagement;
- Social environments that are low risk and include choice, motivation, and scaffolded support;
- Structuring individual and group responsibilities to ensure quality work.
Remember to be positive and to reinforce what is already being done in their classrooms to support a positive literacy environment.
