Overview
Use the “COE Lesson Plan Template” to redesign the lesson. Include the following in your template:
- Evidence of how instructional approaches support each of the following:
- Reading comprehension
- Vocabulary
- Writing
- Critical thinking
Write a reflection discussing the importance of an integrated, comprehensive, and balanced curriculum for secondary students. Explain how you applied culturally responsive best practices to literacy instruction in your lesson plan. Describe how you designed the instruction to include the implementation of the values of cultural diversity, and how they reflect the Christian worldview in their schools and in society. Explain how you applied specific theories for diverse students, as well as equity to literacy instruction in your lesson plan.
