Overview
In five pages (that is, in no fewer than five pages, and no more than five and a half pages):
1) explain West's argument in favor of democracy in general, from the assigned reading;
2) explain West's problem with Socrates' approach to democracy, from the assigned reading;
3) explain how Socrates might argumentatively respond to West's criticism;
4) argue for or against the argument you present in 3), above; and
5) defend your argument in 4) against a naysayer.
