2) As clearly as you can, and using your own words. explain ‘the problem of the speckled hen’, as it relates to the sense datum theory. Do you find this objection to the sense datum view compelling? Why/why not?
3) According to Lewis, in cases of ‘seeing’ (i.e., veridical visual perception), the phenomenal character of the experience is counterfactually dependent upon the object or scene before the eyes. In your own words, and as clearly as you can, explain exactly what this means. Next, illustrate the idea by giving your own example of a case where this requirement is not met. (Note: this example should not be just a minor variation on one of the examples discussed in class.)
