Write a 1-3 page essay with the following structure (at minimum):
- Introduce and explain your topic, including why it is important.
- Take a neutral stance in explaining 2 competing positions on your topic.
- Offer a discussion of which stance you agree with more, and why.
- If you use outside sources, they should be cited, but it is acceptable to simply discuss the topic in your own words. Method of citation is less important than avoiding plagiarism.
Possible questions to adress:
Should capital punishment continue (be minimized, expanded, reformed, etc)?
Should a person be assisted in dying at a time of their choosing? If so, how far should the assistance extend, to euthanasia?
How relevant is diversity to education?
What aspects of affirmative action do you think depend on data? How should data on this issue be collected?
Do federal agencies, such as the department of veteran's affairs, require oversight by the courts? Why or why not?
Are there times at which veteran's deserve special compensation? Dicuss.
