I'm working on a philosophy multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
question 1) write a one paragraph about what surprised you the most about socrates & the greeks. What did you find most interesting and why? include one way in which some of their ideas have endured to our present day. Question 2) Define the following terms: ( Socratic method, Agora, Dialectic, Sophists, Irony, Psyche, Arete, Episteme, Sophia) Each definition should include a basic defintion , a quotation demonstrating what the textbook says about this idea from the chapter, as well as the page number. Question 3) Write a one page single space paper summarizing the argument between Thrasymachus and Socrates on page 54-59. Your summary should deal with the following questions? What did Thrasymachus believe and what was he arguing? How did Socrates respond to his argument? What was socrates argument? Did Socrates win the argument?
