- Given the increasing complexity of our world, should we pursue a more hedonistic lifestyle, or should we agree with Epicurus's quote: "The pleasant life is not the product of one drinking party...On the contrary, it is the result of sober thinking"?
- Has technology afforded us the opportunity to sit back and relax, or has it made life harder (or even, worse)?
- Have cell phones contributed to more sober thinking, or have they had the opposite effect?
