Paper 2 Prompt: Does Machiavelli’s writings present a strong argument regarding political power? Why or why not? Explain using the relevant text as evidence from the second half of the reading. Focus on a just a few of his key points and breakdown how he chooses to make them, explaining why you believe he is presenting a strong argument or not.
Addendum: If it helps (meaning, this is not mandatory) to evaluate Machiavelli's view of politics, you can bring in (briefly) contemporary examples. Note that these examples should only be used to support your overall argument of whether or not he is persuasive in his statements; do not write the entire paper on a contemporary example of Machiavellian-ism.
