1. Briefly summarize what Timmons says about moral theory. In your own words, explain: the aims of moral theory, the role of principles, and the standards for evaluation.
2. What would you want to see from a moral theory (a theory which tries to explain what is right and wrong, good and bad, and how to behave correctly in the world)? What things would make it convincing and compelling to you? Are they the same as what Timmons says? Different? Explain.
