I am choosing Ethic Egoism because it can be hard to put yourself first when it comes to people. In life I feel as we all have but others before us or let people take advantage of us. In some situations I need to put my own happiness first and pursue my life. Even though I shouldn't be selfish about it, I should put my self interest first. I also feel like when it comes to that it can be hard not to think its being selfish in a way about it.

The theory that is best suited to help me decide what to do when faced with a moral dilemma is definitely Divine Command Theory. As a Christian, I do believe that God sets teh standards for my morals and conduct. Plato poses the question of, "Is something right because it is good, or is it right because God said that was so?" I believe that something is right based on what God tells us, and that information is found in the Bible. While the Bible doesn't talk about what to do in every single situation, it does give us a guideline for what is right and wrong. What is morally right and wrong is determened by God's Will. So when I am faced with an ethical decision, I try to base my decisions mainly on what the Bible teaches or what I feel is what Jesus would do in a given circumstance. Obviously, I am not perfect at this by any means, but I am learning every day!
