Overview
Write a 4-5-page, thesis-driven essay on a theme from our course, incorporating each of the skills learned during our Writing Workshop and directly engaging with and citing at least one of our course texts. Your essay must have a thesis that you defend with your own reasons and quotes from our texts. Using outside resources is acceptable but not required. You can format your citations as you'd like, but you should have a bibliography and include page numbers for citations. You should also have at least one paragraph in which you respond to a counter-argument or challenge.
